leeKY operates a public webpage ("leeKY") on which you may publish short text entries ("Cards"). An individual Card carries between 105 and 300 characters and wears the display name of the account that engraved it. Individual Cards are free: engraving one requires a leeKY account (a username and a passphrase; no email, no recovery), a short burst of computation (proof-of-work, as an anti-spam measure), and acceptance of rate limits. You may reply to Cards with another account and receive notifications about replies to what you engraved. Cards and replies are publicly visible to anyone.
One (1) publication of your text on leeKY. The product is the display, on a public feed. Nothing transfers ownership of anything. No token, no equity, no license to physical or digital real estate, no certificate with magical properties. You are placing a sentence in a public place, free of charge, which is among the oldest products on Earth.
Startup cards are a separate product with no fixed supply. A standard startup card costs five thousand USDC on the Polygon chain ($5,000) and appears as a golden row woven into the wall; a full-row card costs ten thousand USDC on the Polygon chain ($10,000) and spans the whole width, larger. Startup cards are minted on-site from the Startup tab: write your name and words, pay the tier price to your jar, and the card is engraved once the chain confirms. No links, no logos, words only, that's the point, some people will search you up and you will get engagement anyway, not guaranteed though.
An investment. A security. Yield, dividends, appreciation, or any financial return of any kind. leeKY is not an investment vehicle, we are not a financial institution, and nothing on the site is financial advice. Anyone who tells you a text card is an asset class has not read this paragraph, which we wrote first.
All payments are final. Individual Cards are free and involve no payment at all. Startup cards cost their tier price ($5,000 standard, $10,000 full row) in USDC on the Polygon chain: once the on-chain verification confirms your transaction, the card is engraved and the fee is earned. There is no refund infrastructure, not as a policy choice but as a fact of construction, and this is disclosed before payment, at payment, and here for the third time. Do not pay if this is unacceptable.
Payments are made on public blockchains. We cannot reverse, claw back, or partial-refund a blockchain transaction under any circumstances, including yours, however sympathetic.
It is solely your responsibility to send exactly the tier price (5,000 or 10,000 USDC) to your order's address. Any other amount, whether it's over or under, is rejected outright. Underpayments simply fail. Overpayments are forfeit to leeKY in full: the excess is kept by us, no card is issued for it, and you retain no claim to it, not as credit, not as a future engraving, not as anything. Be really careful at the moment of sending. The desk does not round, forgive, return, or make change.
WHERE APPLICABLE LAW GRANTS YOU NON-EXCLUDABLE CONSUMER RIGHTS, THIS SECTION DOES NOT OVERRIDE THEM. IF YOU ARE AN EU/UK CONSUMER: BY PURCHASING YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO IMMEDIATE DELIVERY OF DIGITAL CONTENT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL IS LOST ONCE DELIVERY BEGINS.
Words like "forever" on the site are marketing. The operative warranty is: your Card remains displayed for as long as leeKY exists and maintains hosting, currently one person and roughly for no price. We promise no uptime, no availability, and no survival of leeKY, its operator, or its enthusiasm. Export the deed; keep a copy; permanence has always been a group project.
You retain ownership of your text. By engraving, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that text and your display name solely as part of leeKY.
We may remove any Card, without refund, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to content that: is illegal in our operating jurisdiction; constitutes hate speech, harassment, or threats; impersonates any person or entity; infringes copyright or trademark; is spam or commercial advertising (this affects free cards only); or is sexual content involving minors, which we report to the relevant authorities and do not merely delete.
Rejections and removals are communicated as codes, never as quotes of your text. A report function exists on every Card; reports are reviewed by the desk at a pace the desk finds reasonable.
Startup cards get no special treatment here: if a card collects enough reports and our review confirms the problem, fake business, impersonation, or anything else on the list above, the card comes down. Removal for cause carries no refund; the fee was earned when the card was engraved.
Copyright notices: send the ID of the Card (you can find it by entering the replies menu of the card and looking at the top), if it's a reply copy-paste the exact text, the work you claim is infringed, and your contact to mango-follow-atlas@duck.com. We remove the Card while we review. That is the entire process, it is intentionally small.
You warrant that: you are at least 18 years old; you own or have the right to publish the text you submit; the text is not defamatory, unlawful, or infringing; and you are not paying with funds you do not control. You are solely responsible for what you choose to say in a public place, a rule that predates this website by several thousand years and has never once been overturned, we think.
We store:
Logins create a session: a random token lives in your browser's local storage and lets the browser stay identified for 30 days or until you log out, change your passphrase, or clear site data. Sessions are not cookies and hold no personal data beyond the account they identify. If you clear your browser's local storage, the session is dead and you log in again.
We store no email, no cookies, no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers. There is nothing to unsubscribe from.
Wallet addresses and transactions are pseudonymous but public on the blockchain, which is beyond anyone's control, including ours.
Be aware that you cannot request deletion for your Card once you engraved it.
leeKY is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; and our total aggregate liability for any claim is capped at nothing at all, this being a free servicethe amount you paid us, nothing at all, matters of no fee being matters of no liability, for a free engraving.
leeKY is not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, strikes, epidemics, internet collapse, chain reorganizations, hosting outages, the death or demotivation of the operator, or the eventual expansion of the Sun. The last one is scheduled, we have noted the date.
We may modify these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new version date. Purchases made after a change are governed by it, and purchases made before a change are governed by the terms in force at purchase, which we keep.
These terms are governed by the laws of Chile, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes: good-faith email first mango-follow-atlas@duck.com, then the courts of Chile.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest survive. These terms plus the act of paying, are the entire agreement between you and leeKY.
